The Firmware between Instrument Clusters of from the PQ35 Plattform (Sharan) and PQ25 Plattform ( T6) is very different. Even if they have the same Versions.

7N SW 1109 is the same like 1K SW 1109 but different to 7E SW 1109

Between PQ35 Plattform the SW (Internal Flash) is always the same, the difference is only made in Configuration (Eeprom) The same applies inside PQ25 Plattform.

As your see not all Features can be used with the Sharan ones in T6, but for most applications it will work if you find a Settings. The Tools for Eeprom manipulation that i know only focus on PQ35 Clusters. But with some try and error i found a Setting in Eeprom which makes Sharan Dials work with T6 Firmware. You need to change Offset 0x3AC in Eeprom from 0x00 to 0x06

The Hardware (The PCB) is the same, but the placement of Parts is different. Here is a compare between Sharan and T6 Cluster. Everything that is on both is marked green. Everything that is on Sharan but missin in T6 is marked red. Everything that is on T6 but missing in Sharan is marked yellow.

If you do not make HW changes than it just will not work. The Following is clear, but more issues are shure to come ...

- Manual parking brake when applied sends GND. - EPB when applied sends +12V.

- Handbreak Signal is inverted between classic manual Handbreak (signal to ground) and new EPB (signal to 12V) - You get Ghost MFA because the PullUps on Discret MFA Signals used in PQ25 is missing in PQ35 Cluster, see Video of it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAqOgojZ6W8
